Humanists’ holy row with ex-archbishop

Britain’s leading humanist organisation has hit out at an attempted “land grab” after a report endorsed by a former archbishop of Canterbury called on Christians to reclaim the philosophy from secularism.

The paper claims that atheism is a greater threat to the central tenets of humanism than Christianity.
