Each year, we invite a prominent speaker on religion and society to give the Theos Annual Lecture.

General Lord Richard Dannatt, former Chief of the General Staff, delivered the fourth annual Theos lecture on 8th November 2011.

Ian Blair, Baron Blair of Boughton, former Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, delivered the third annual Theos lecture on 16th November 2010.

Jonathan Sacks, Baron Sacks of Aldgate, the Chief Rabbi, delivered the second annual Theos lecture on 4th November 2009.

Mark Thomson, Director–General of the BBC, delivered the first annual Theos lecture on 14th October 2008.
