Magna Carta, Christianity and the Future of Liberty

In celebration of the 800th anniversary of our most iconic legal document, we launch our new report -The Church and the Charter: Christianity and the forgotten roots of the Magna Carta.

Theos, in partnership with Christians in Parliament and the Lawyers' Christian Fellowship, is hosting a discussion on Magna Carta, Christianity and the future of liberty on Monday 15th June, 7-8.30pm, in the Attlee Suite, Portcullis House in the House of Commons. Nick Spencer (Theos) will be in discussion with Professor Julian Rivers (University of Bristol) and Baroness Berridge. We hope that you can join us for what promises to be a highly stimulating evening.

Please note: this event is by invitation only and remaining spaces are limited - if you are interested, please contact james.lee@parliament.ukEntry is via the main entrance off Victoria Embankment. Please allow 20 minutes to pass through security.
