Theos director takes up new job

Theos director takes up new job

On 4 January 2011, after five and a half years, Paul Woolley, our founding Director, left Theos to take up a new job as Executive Director of Charity at the Bible Society. We are naturally very sorry to see him go, but we are delighted for him. Paul was an outstanding Director and was central in enabling Theos to secure the the profile and reputation for excellence which the think tank enjoys today. We are very grateful for his hard work, creativity and commitment.

Commenting on his departure, Paul said: 'It is a big wrench to leave Theos, but the timing feels right and I'm excited by the challenges and opportunities ahead. I am very grateful to the Board, Advisory Group and Theos staff for their constant support and input. I could not have worked with a better group of people and I have every confidence that Theos will grow in stature and wisdom during the coming years.'

The job vacancy Paul leaves behind him will be advertised shortly.
