Election competition results

The Theos competition to predict the outcome of the General Election was won by Margaret Hunt.

She predicted the following distribution of seats (actual results in brackets):

Conservatives 296 (306)

Labour 259 (258)

Lib Dems 64 (57)

Other 31 (28)

Well done Margaret! One rival competitor came close, and for a while it looked as if we may have had a hung competition, but when all the votes were counted, Margaret was the clear winner, and got to keep the Champagne all to herself!

Thank you to all who entered and, more importantly, to all who voted in the election.
