Win a bottle of Champagne by predicting election result

Win a bottle of Champagne by predicting election result

It won't have escaped your notice that an election is almost upon us. In order to inject even more excitement into the proceedings, your colleagues at Theos are running a competition.

You are invited to submit your predictions regarding the state of the parties after election day ( 6 May 2010), using the format below which shows the state of the parties by number of seats after the 2005 general election:

Labour: 356

Conservatives: 198

Lib Dems: 62

Others: 30

Entries must be submitted to hello@theosthinktank.co.uk by noon on 29 April 2010.

The person who comes closest to predicting the eventual result will win a bottle of House of Commons Champagne.

In the event of a tie, the entrant who submitted their prediction earliest will win. The judges' decision is final. Vote early and good luck!

*** The number of seats will rise from 646 to 650 under the proposals made by the Boundary Commissions for England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, the Scottish Boundary Commission having made its last review prior to the 2005 general election.
