Darwin gets a makeover

Nearly 200 years after his birth, Mandate Communications will attempt to shift public perceptions of Charles Darwin.

The agency has landed an account with theology think-tank Theos to promote its ‘Rescuing Darwin’ campaign. It aims to disprove the assumption that Darwin’s theories of evolution are incompatible with religious belief.

Theos is running the campaign to coincide with the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth this year. Mandate hopes to create exposure for the campaign through high-profile lectures, seminars, publications, as well as by targeting the national UK broadcast, print and web media.
