Theos Friends' parliamentary reception

Theos Friends' parliamentary reception

Members of the Theos Friends’ programme joined Lord Tyler at a drinks reception in the Houses of Parliament last night.

Speaking at the event Lord Tyler thanked the Theos Friends for their support and paid tribute to the valuable work being undertaken by Theos at a time when the voice of faith was often seen as ill-informed or extreme.

Lord Tyler chairs the Faiths and Civil Society Unit at AngliaRuskinUniversity, based in Cambridge and Chelmsford. In the House of Lords, he is Liberal Democrat Spokesman on constitutional reform.

Paul Woolley, Director of Theos, said: "We are encouraged by the progress Theos has made during the past year but none of this would have been possible without the support of our Friends. We are very grateful to you."
