Cardinal recommends Theos report for Lent

Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, the Archbishop of Westminster, has recommended the first published Theos report for Lenten inspiration.

Speaking to The Times today, the Cardinal's top tip to readers is "Doing God": A Future for Faith in the Public Square.

“The arguments are cogent and reasonable,” writes the Cardinal.

“This excellent booklet argues that faith is not just important for human flourishing and the renewal of society but that society can only flourish if faith is given space to make its contribution and its challenge.”

"Doing God", by Nick Spencer, Director of Studies at Theos, was published in November 2006. It examines reasons why religious beliefs are likely to play an ever greater role in twenty-first century British society.

Copies of the report can be purchased for £9.99 through this website or by contacting the Theos office.
